Josh, has deep appreciation for the roots of Australian tattoo history from the 70s and 80s. He was introduced to art through animation and skateboarding graphics.
This lead him to an interest in tattoo’s that he would eventually pursue.
With a focus on traditional tattooing Josh enjoys blending classic and modern designs in black and grey or colour.
He draws inspiration from his love of pop culture artists like Jimbo Phillips, vintage Hanna barbera animation, anime artists Eiichiro Odda, Osamu Tezuka, Fujiko Fujio and skateboarding fine artist Ed Templeton.
Whether working with classic motifs or clients custom requests.
Josh’s work reflects his love for timeless bold western traditional tattooing while incorporating new subject matter and colours.
