We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of things, and we will always try and be as accomodating as possible. However, we must ensure that our appointments run on time so the next client is not negatively impacted.
Health and Safety
In the event that you are unable or unwilling to abide by health and safety regulations as dictated by the government (including health codes), you may be asked to leave the establishment and your deposit will be forfeited.
Example: You are not wearing appropriate clothing (including shoes) while attending your appointment and the staff deems it not safe for other patrons or staff.
Rescheduling Piercing
In the event that you are unable to attend your piercing appointment, you are able to reschedule with at least 6 hours notice prior to your appointment time. Simply locate your confirmation email and hit the “Reschedule” link.
Example: You get called into work and you can no longer attend your booked appointment, so you reschedule to our next available spot. Your deposit is retained for your new appointment time.
Rescheduling Tattoo or Laser

Call us on (02) 8095 0100 or email 77@stoneheart.com.au outside of operating hours.
Example: Your work roster changed in advance and you no longer have that day free. You contact us within 2 days and we reschedule you. Your deposit is retained for your new appointment time.
Cancelling Tattoo
In the event that you no longer wish to get your tattoo done, you are able to cancel with at least 48 hours notice prior to your appointment time.
Call us on (02) 8095 0100 or email 77@stoneheart.com.au outside of operating hours.
If the artist has already drawn up your design, a drawing fee may be deducted from your deposit.
Example: You changed your mind and no longer want to get tattooed and let us know within a reasonable time. Your deposit is refunded in full.
Incorrect Identification
Your deposit is considered forfeit if you attend your appointment without all of the correct identification, including parent’s identification if you are under the age of 18.
You are sent an SMS reminder the day prior to your appointment to remind you of which pieces of identification you need to bring.
Example: You don’t bring correct identification to your piercing appointment, so we are unable to pierce you. Your deposit is not refunded or transferred.
Missed appointment
If you are 10 or more minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may lose your deposit and need to rebook.
Example: You arrive ≥10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment time, and the next client will be negatively impacted, so we are unable to pierce you. Your deposit is not refunded or transferred, and you will need to rebook for another time.
Change of mind
If you attend your appointment and decide to not go ahead with it, you may lose some or all of your deposit. This deposit may be used towards other purchases in-store at the discretion of your piercer.
Example: You booked for a nostril piercing, but at your appointment, you decide you don’t want to get pierced anymore. Your piercer will discuss using your deposit for other products and services.
Practitioner declining your procedure
If we decline your procedure based on integrity or anatomical suitability, you will have your entire deposit refunded.
Example: You are not anatomically viable for the piercing you booked in for, and our practitioners have agreed that it is not advisable to do the piercing. Your deposit is automatically refunded.
