Quality Matters

Quality jewellery is essential for both the safety and longevity of your piercing. High-quality materials reduce the risk of irritation, allergic reactions, and infection, ensuring your piercing heals properly.
Investing in durable, well-crafted jewellery also means it will withstand everyday wear, maintain its appearance, and provide lasting comfort, making it an essential part of your overall piercing experience.

BYO Jewellery
You sure can! - Note that we charge a $15 sterility fee for all jewellery brought into our studio for use in a fresh piercing, regardless of where it was purchased from initially.
It needs to be (at a minimum):
- Ti6Al4V ELI – ASTM F136 compliant or ISO 5832-3 compliant
- Ti6Al7Nb ELI – ASTM F1295 compliant or ISO 5832-11 compliant
- Solid 14-karat or 18-karat yellow, white, or rose gold that is nickel, lead, and cadmium free.
- Unalloyed Niobium (Nb) that is ASTM B392 compliant.
- Glass that is lead free such as Fused quartz, Borosilicate or Soda-lime
The material polish must be:
- mirror finish polish
- free from nicks, burrs or scratches on the wearing area
The jewellery must be:
- Internally threaded or threadless with industry-standard locking mechanisms Suitable for the area being inserted (correct gauge, length, design, shape)
Re-using other's jewellery:
- Regardless of how well a piece can be cleaned and sterilised, we will not use someone else’s previously worn jewellery on another client. Enough residue can be left behind to defeat even the most thorough cleaning and sterilisation methods. Due to this, there is no accepted standard practice for the reuse of body jewellery on other clients.
You may be asked to supply the brand or mill certs to ensure the safety of the jewellery.
Jewellery Sales
At our studio, we prioritise our client’s piercings above all else. One crucial aspect of ensuring this safety is the fitting of jewellery by a trained practitioner, as body piercings are highly individual, and without proper fitting by a professional, there’s a risk of discomfort, irritation, or even complications such as migration or rejection of the jewellery if the wrong size is installed.
All our jewellery sales are final – no exchanges or refunds can be accepted. This is for health and safety purposes, as worn jewellery can not be safely re-sold.
Furthermore, the fitting process goes beyond just selecting the right size; it involves assessing the piercing site, considering potential issues, and offering guidance on safe practices. Our practitioners have undergone extensive training and have accumulated years of experience in the field, allowing them to provide personalised care and advice to each client.
Brands we carry
We only carry high-quality jewellery from trusted brands that offer a lifetime guarantee on the craftsmanship and durability of their pieces.
